All events at the hall are now cancelled until further notice.  This decision has been taken in the light of advice from government.

Walkerburn Public Hall exists to serve the community of Walkerburn and the surrounding district. A copy of the original Trust Deed of 1908 is given here.

The current Trustees of the Hall are given below:

The day to day running of the Hall is undertaken by a Management Committee



The hall is available for hire for private parties with a stage, and a fully fitted kitchen. There is disabled access, the hall has both small and large tables, and seating for 220.

It provides a meeting place for all village groups' coffee mornings, Community Council, Village Show and many more groups throughout the year.

Enquiries for bookings are always welcome.  Please note that no hall bookings are being taken at present.

Hire of Hall

If you wish to hire the hall for any event -
You should check availability by contacting the booking officer Mrs Win Pennel on 01896 870236 or by email winpennel@hotmail.com

Please note that no hall bookings are being taken at present.  This is why you are not able to access the booking form.

Print off a booking form, complete and sign (Terms and Conditions of hire are included with the form, by signing the form you agree to abide by them.  Please note 24 hour's notice is required for cancellations otherwise a fee of 18.00 will be payable.)

Post the form to the booking officer at the address on the form.

An invoice will be sent at the end of the month.

Payment should be made to the booking officer by return.
